2016 Art Vessel

For 2016 I aim to make a vessel each week. I am combining this with Katie Oskin’s 2016 Polymer Clay Challenge as anything I make will probably include polymer clay. I have a Flickr Group for my vessels and inspiration from other artists (and media). If you would like to join in, please do!

My definition of a vessel includes anything rigid you can put something into; so in addition to the obvious bowls, bottles and vases I hope to include decorative boxes, miniature teapots, inros, lockets or even poison rings. Since the vessels often take me more than a week to complete I have decided to show finished jewellery rather than works in progress.

I have written a summary of this project.
